When I attempt to install (3) recently downloaded paid Addon plugins - Embeds, frontend Moderation and Media Uploader - I get a "403 Forbidden Access to this resource on the server is denied!" error code.
I tested an Hcaptcha plugin install after these failures, and it installed fine. The core, free wpDiscuz Plugin installs fine as well. I just fully uninstalled it and reinstalled it.
I am running the most current version of Wordpress - 6.7.1 and PHP 8.3.15. it generally appears as if the problem lies within the paid download files.

I’ve run into this before — a 403 error is usually server-side, not a wpDiscuz issue. Most of the time it’s caused by hosting security rules, ModSecurity, or a firewall blocking the plugin upload/install.
You could try temporarily disabling security plugins, checking file permissions, or asking your host to review any blocked rules. As a workaround, uploading the plugin via FTP and activating it manually often works too.
