We've had a report from a user that other user's comments still awaiting moderation are visible to then. How could this happen? It is going to be caching or are any other scenarios possible ?

What seems to be happening is that anyone logged in sees all the awaiting moderation msgs and those comments.
If a user isn't logged in (irrelevant admin or just forum user) then they don't see the msg.
I've just logged in as an admin for example and I see "Your comment is awaiting moderation" on a post that I didn't write (I never write posts).
