Those options are located in the comment form add/edit section. Just go to the Dashboard > wpDiscuz > Forms admin page, edit the current form (if nothing is changed it's called "Default Form") and you'll be able to configure those options. 

Note: The subscription bar can't be hidden for the Website administrators.

We have got a report that, there is a security vulnerability issue in 5.3.5 version. This issue was fixed in the major update 7.x.x versions. However, we also fixed the issue for 5.x version users and released 5.3.6 version.

If you want to keep using the old 5.x version, just update it to the 5.3.6 version using this instruction:

1. Deactivate delete the 5.3.5 version.
2. Download the 5.3.6 verison: https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/wpdiscuz.5.3.6.zip
3. Click the button in Dashboard > Plugins admin page and upload/install the 5.3.6 installation zip file.

As you can see we jump from 5.3.5 version to 7.0.x, so you should understand, that lots of things are changed. This is a totally different wpDiscuz. Therefore, we recommend you follow these steps before updating to version 7:

1. You’ll lose old wpDiscuz template customization in the active WordPress theme /wpdiscuz/ folder. If you don’t have customized wpDiscuz template files, just ignore this note.
2. Please check wpDiscuz v7 demo to make sure you want to update.
3. Create a test/dev/staging website and try it, make sure it’s good for you.
4. Try it with the plugins you use on your live website. Make sure it’s compatible with all them.
