Comment typing is erased after clicking

Hi guys,

I'm writing on behalf of my client (@doctorofcredit).

We found out a bug.

Follow a link to any comment that is below the comments that are loaded in by default. For example: https://stg-doctorofcreditcom-staging.kinsta.cloud/site-updates-requests/#comment-2303788
Click reply on one of the comments that are highlighted and type anything (but don't post the comment).
Scroll to the bottom and click load more comments.
Scroll back up and whatever you typed is gone forever.

I was able to reproduce it with the latest version of wpDiscuz.

Hey Folks I find the "login" button a bit confusing for new sign-ups. I'd like to add "register" somehow?

Console error when editing comments in closed threads

Hi guys,

I'm writing on behalf of my client (@doctorofcredit)

I found out that when a thread is closed for comments (using the native WordPress setting, see screenshot), editing any already published comment doesn't work. This is what happens:

Close the comments section
Edit a comment from the frontend:
The console shows this error:
And there's no way to edit the comment. Stays loading and shows a white box

We've tried disabling all plugins and it looks like it doesn't make a difference. Any idea what's happening? Let us know if you need any further info.

We are using wpDiscuz - Emoticons and wpDiscuz - User & Comment Mentioning also.

There is issue when calling below function during post comment. I attached response which I am getting.

Widget/Shortcode for showing user's most recent comments?

We are building a website that will be running wpDiscuz, wpForo, and LearnDash LMS -- so, we want users to have a single User Dashboard page where we can show them their own most recent activity from all three plugins. Is there a way to do this for wpDiscuz activity show via a shortcode or widget?

Hello, I am using wpDiscuz with LearnPress. I must have configured it incorrectly, as the same comments appear on every lesson. I cannot provide a link because the comments are private.
I simply want comments to appear only on the specific lesson where they were written, rather than everywhere. I have attached some screenshots. Thank you.

INVALID NONCE -- Users and Admins Can't Comment

Yesterday, I updated my WPdiscuz after not having updated in a long time.

I immediately noticed that I could not comment, then realized other users on my high-traffic site could not comment either. Any attempt to comment generated an "INVALID NONCE" message.

I cleared all my caches--to no avail.

I then rolled back through the last seven versions of WPDiscuz -- nothing helped, still INVALID NONCE whenever I or a user tries to post a comment.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated, as my comment section helps drive traffic to my website.

CSS Issue

Hi,

while validating my website’s CSS I noticed a small standards issue that seems to originate from the bundled Slick stylesheet.

The validator reports

cursor: hand;

which is an old Internet Explorer value. The standard CSS value would be

cursor: pointer;

There are no visible rendering problems on my website, so this is simply a small standards-related observation that might be worth correcting in a future update.

bonjour,

J'ai installé et activé le plugin, je suis sous divi, j'ai lu plein d'articles sur le sujet, j'ai bien tous activé partout, désactivé des plugins, ajouté le code css

mais rien n'y fait, j'ai toujours l'encart des commentaire par défaut de wp sur mes pages de cours learnpress et sur les pages de mon site j'ai rien du tout.

je ne sais plus quoi faire, pouvez-vous m'aider, merci

How to Enable wpDiscuz Only on Certain Posts or Pages

Sometimes, you may want to display the wpDiscuz comment form only on specific posts or pages. For example, you might want to create a test page to check how wpDiscuz works before enabling it across your website.

In this case, the best solution is to use the Display comment form for post IDs option.

To configure this option, follow these steps:

Navigate to Dashboard > wpDiscuz > Forms.
Edit the desired comment form (if you haven't made any changes before, this will be the default form).
Enter the IDs of the posts or pages where you want to display the comment form in the Display comment form for post IDs field. Separate multiple IDs with commas.
Save the changes and check the comment form on the frontend.
